English Language Challenges

Hi everyone!

I hope all of you are fine!

Before to start, I want to say thank you for reading all my posts. This is the last blog, and its topic is my experience learning English at the university and the use of blogs.

In general, my experience at English courses has been good, I have done only two (English III and IV), but I have learned a lot. However, the pandemic has been a huge problem to the English courses because the online context has generated a lack of motivation and also has prevented a high level of participation.

About the blogs, I consider it a good tool to practice writing and reading, also I think they are a great possibility to know our classmates, especially in the online context. Nevertheless, sometimes they are exhausting because they are a lot, and writing a blog, at least in my case, takes so much time.

On the other hand, I think that I need to improve my English, to be specific, I need to learn more vocabulary and practice grammar because, due to the blogs, I have realized that I repeat a lot of words and I ask myself a million times to check the structure of a sentence. In that way, I think this situation is because these days English has been out of my daily routine (despite English activities and some texts to other courses), due to I don't have enough time to practice every day. To combat this problem, during vacation I plan to play Duolingo again and watch some series in English with subtitles also in English, to search only the words and phrases that I don't understand.

Well, this has been everything.

Bye💚
